UFS, a technology provider for community banks, owned by community banks, announces the election of Stacy Pritzl to the
WACHA Board. Stacy, a 25 year community banking veteran, and longtime member of the UFS executive team with responsibility for customer experience, will be sharing her passion for community banking with the industry as a director of this payments organization.
Since its founding in 1976, WACHA has helped its members navigate the ever changing payments landscape as solutions and methods continue to converge and evolve. “I am so excited to extend the UFS guiding principle of servant leadership to the wider payments community” said Pritzl. Since the company’s founding in 1991, UFS has maintained a focus on assisting people, including customers and employees, to successfully navigate the quickly changing technology environment so community bankers can prioritize their customer’s needs over operations. “WACHA, whose mission of being payments experts with comprehensive solutions and exceptional support, has been a great partner for UFS and the industry” noted Pritzl. “I look forward to contributing to their long term success not only as a partner, but now as director.”
The Wisconsin Automated Clearing House Association (WACHA) was created in 1976 as a nonprofit 501(C)(6), membership-based organization. WACHA provides financial and business communities with payments experts, comprehensive solutions including compliance, advisory services, and risk management backed by exceptional support. Its purpose is to support in implementation, problem solving, and marketing of all ACH products and services to over 300 members. The organizations assists its members in navigating the ever-changing payments landscape inclusive of ACH payments, Check, Card and Wire. Knowledge of all payment systems is critical in today’s environment as payments continue to converge and evolve. The organization’s resources and training is not just for financial institutions’ operations and compliance staff, but includes training for the financial institution’s corporate customers. WACHA is one of 11 Regional Payment Associations located in the United States and is a Direct Member of the National ACH Association (NACHA).
